MERCEDES-BENZ - THE BEST OR NOTHING

Simply put, Mercedes-Benz owners will settle for nothing less than the best from a European automotive brand. The unsurpassed level of luxury that a Mercedes-Benz offers is truly something drivers must experience for themselves. This amazing driving experience explains why so many people who purchase Mercedes vehicles are brand loyal for the rest of their life.

Heritage is as important to the Mercedes-Benz brand as it is to the owners. Dating back to 1906, Mercedes-Benz has been producing “The Best or Nothing” for well over a century now. Although the brand is known for its incredible luxury and impeccable standards, innovation is truly what makes a Mercedes-Benz special.

Outside of well-informed owners, most people don’t realize that Mercedes-Benz has been responsible for countless advances in manufacturing, performance, and safety in the automotive industry. In fact, it was Mercedes-Benz who introduced the first crash test in 1958 and invented the anti-lock brake system (ABS). Both of these innovations completely revolutionized the industry, and it was simply because they innovate to be the best.

A Mercedes-Benz owner appreciates being ahead of the curve, and only accepts the best. This is why picking the right shop to maintain your Mercedes-Benz is an incredibly important choice.

MERCEDES-BENZ MAINTENANCE & REPAIR

It’s no secret that when you demand the best, it comes at a price. This is true of owning a Mercedes-Benz vehicle as well, but any owner will tell you that it is well worth the investment. To help assist drivers in protecting their investments, all late model Mercedes-Benz come equipped with a system called the Mercedes-Benz Maintenance System.

MERCEDES-BENZ SERVICE A

The Mercedes-Benz Maintenance System measures the time and distance between service intervals. The first milestone for service on your vehicle is referred to as “Service A”, which occurs at 10,000 miles. Service A includes:

  • Mercedes-Benz Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement
  • Oil filter replacement
  • Fluid levels check and correction
  • Tire inflation check and correction
  • Brake component inspection
  • Reset maintenance counter

Mercedes-Benz Service B

Service B occurs every 20,000 miles, or two years, whichever comes first. When compared with Service A which is considered “minor”, Service B is considered a “major” service. Service B includes

  • Mercedes-Benz Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement
  • Oil Filter Replacement
  • Replace windshield wiper inserts
  • Replace cabin filter
  • Brake fluid exchange
  • Check major components for leakage
  • Fluid levels check and correction
  • Set tire pressures including spare reset tire pressure monitoring system (if applicable)
  • Rotate tires
  • Inspect front axle ball joints, rubber boots, and Poly-V-belt
  • Brake component check
  • Reset maintenance counter
The Mercedes-Benz Maintenance System will alert you 30 days before a service is due, or if any other major mechanical issues occur over time. Once the system indicates it is time for service or repair, it is important to schedule an appointment right away.
